WHAT TO EXPECT

Have you been curious to experience a pet or family photoshoot but unsure what to expect?

I’m here to help you capture beautiful photos, without the stress, of your family that you can proudly display around your house.

– A step-by-step guide.

 1. the inquiry

You are considering booking a photoshoot but would like more information.

I offer a few different genres, such as Pets, Family, and Headshots for children’s acting & modelling portfolio.

First, you’ll need to decide what type of session you are interested in. You can either come to the studio or I can meet you on location for an outdoor photoshoot. Maybe your family has got a special place that you would love to have your pet or family portraits taken. Location sessions are ideal for those looking for a more informal, natural portraits. I’m happy to chat through your location requests, please do this before booking.

2. the session fee

I charge a session fee of £30.

This includes;

  • £30 credit towards any product or package
  • Up to three pets per household (£10 per additional pet).
  • Consultation & Planning Your Session
  • Photo Shoot lasting up to 2 hours
  • Studio or Location*

*depending on location, a mileage charge may apply

Please note that the session fee does not include digital files or products. They are purchased separately. A full copy of our price list can be emailed to you, or you can check out the PRICE LIST here.

Once you decide to go ahead, I’ll get the date booked in.

3. before your session

It is important to plan before getting your photos taken. All sessions come with a questionnaire so I can get to know your pets or family’s needs and personality.

You can browse through my Facebook page, Instagram, or gallery page to get a good sense of the kind of images and style I create. Consider how you plan to use your photos, whether digital images or framed displays, for your walls. I always keep the end product in mind when creating your images.

My goal is to capture stunning images that you will cherish forever. It’s entirely up to you what you choose to purchase, so please review the pricing list to ensure you’re comfortable with my prices.

4. during your session

On the day of your session, we’ll meet at the agreed time and start the fun! The photoshoot will last around 1-2 hours.

Pet Sessions

There is plenty of time to work at your pets’s pace – all animals are different – some need time to calm down, others need to gain confidence. When first working with a pet client, I always want to take the time for everyone to settle in; there is no rush to get started or finish. We will see how your pets react in the studio or on location and take it from there.

Family sessions

You don’t worry about anything – I’ll be there to pose and direct you looking your best.

Children are unpredictable…that’s what makes them so lovable, but if your child is not in good spirits on the day I totally understand! There is no rush. I can take as much time as needed to get your little one used to the camera so they feel relaxed, safe and comfortable.

5. after your session

After your photo shoot, I’ll pick out 20 – 25 of your best images and edit them. I believe in quality over quantity. Within 14 days of your session, I will book a personal ordering session. We’ll review your photos, and you can see the beautiful print product options available. This is where you place your order and pay for the images and products you purchase.

Digital packages start at £299, and Wall art collections start at £499.

6. ready for collection

On average, it takes 2-4 weeks for the order to be ready after your ordering appointment. Once your order is prepared, I’ll can arrange a suitable date for you to come and collect your products.

The only thing left to do is enjoy your photos for years to come.
